Everyone knows how important backlinks are to the success of your blog. The general idea behind obtaining backlinks is to provide your readers quality information, who then in turn link to your site, thus increasing your ranking and popularity with the various search engines. This will, hopefully, increase your traffic. Ignore them to your own detriment.
There are numerous ways to generate backlinks to your site. These methods include the creation of quality content, submission to site directories, commenting on blogs and forums, and submitting articles to article directories. In this post, I am concentrating on submitting this blog to as many site directories as possible.
